Considered by many classic Triumph fans as the best year of the Bonneville, the 1970 was the last year before Triumph switched to the oil-in-frame design.
The seller states that this went through a “full frame up, engine, nuts and bolts restoration” which included new Amal 930 carbs, a high output stator, Boyer Bransden electronic ignition, solid state regulator/rectifier, fresh Dunlop K70 tires, powder coated frame, new seat, rebuilt Smiths gauges, and “all nuts and bolts cadmium plated or replaced.”
