For reasons unknown, I’ve been on a little bit of a small Honda off-road kick recently. It continues with this beautifully restored Honda SL350.
The SL350 was similar to the CL350, but with upswept pipes, cross braced handlebars, and some off-road styling cues like the raised front fender. In 1970 the bike gained a 19 inch front wheel, lost the electric start, and weighed 368 pounds wet. For more on the SL350, check out this writeup from one of my favorite sites about classic off-road bikes, SuperHunky.
This specific Honda SL350 underwent a bare frame restoration with a tremendous amount of new parts. Just 1,690 miles have been accumulated since the majority of the work. Also post-restoration, it’s been repainted Candy Topaz Orange and given Hooker headers. As the seller puts it, “Yes it sounds awesome. Yes it looks awesome. Yes it rides awesome.”
