In a period review, Motor Cycle News out of England called the CZ 250 Enduro “possibly one of the best trail bikes ever.” Most of CZ’s competition, especially the Japanese, built trail bikes by starting with street-oriented models. CZ started with their last-gen MX bike and used that as their platform instead. The result was excellent.
Using the MX bike, CZ retuned the 250cc two-stroke single with torque as a priority, paired it with a wide-ratio gearbox with 5 speeds, and utilized quality components. This example is said to work well and it’s street legal, though the front fender and mirror aren’t original. The seller claims that the first owner received the bike without a front fender for some reason. The original tires are included, and the seller will include several booklets and pieces of paperwork that came with the bike when sold new. You’ll also get the frame mounted tire pump as well as the extra spark plug. There’s some surface rust on the pipe guard and on top of the headlight, and the battery should be replaced.
