An evolution of the T250 Hustler, the Suzuki GT250 got a “Ram Air” cylinder head that was supposed to force cold air to the back of the cylinder, as well as fake air scoops in the sidecovers. Depending on who you talked to, the Ram Air system resulted in actual gains – or it was just as useful as the fake air scoops!
With air being rammed into the cylinder all Ben-Hur style, the 247cc parallel twin produced 31 horsepower. This example is claimed to be original and in excellent condition with 9,414 miles on the odometer. The seller was apparently a mechanic on a vintage 2-stroke road race team, so you’d hope he knows his stuff. He synchronized and cleaned the carbs, rebuilt the front master cylinder, and slapped on new tires, plugs, points, and more.
