I got myself confused between this bike and a Trophy Trail, which has been previously featured. Here’s some more accurate information from South Shore Motors. Thanks, Mark!
“In the 60s/ early 70s, the Trophy label was used on a variety of bikes from the 250cc TR25W to the larger 500 and 650cc twins. The moniker usually referred to a single-carb scrambler model. In this instance, the bike in question is a T100C — the single-carb, high-pipe twin to the Daytona. The frame is the same Triumph-designed T100 frame used since the late 60s, updated with TLS front brake and turn signals (on US-bound models, anyway). This was the last year Triumph built any 500cc models.”
This example is almost entirely original and has just over 7,400 miles. It’s a second owner bike and has recently received a carb rebuild and new tires. The mirrors seem to be the only issue, and you’ll get all original paperwork including the owner’s handbook, sales receipt (original owner was a US serviceman who bought the bike in Denmark, toured Europe with it, and then brought it back home with him), and more. Find this Triumph Trophy for sale here on Craigslist in Manakin Sabot, Virginia for $3,795.
