Post Listing Update: This /6 did not get any interest at the opening ask of $3,750.
Offered by Classic Motorcycle Consignments, this slash 6 has been “customized by its owner to run a bit truer, a bit quicker, and a bit smoother.”
The slash 6 generation of BMWs was introduced in 1974, offering displacement options of 600, 750, and 900cc. The 750 was good for 54 horsepower and a top speed of 110 miles per hour. This example (VIN: 4940751) has 64,125 miles and it features lots of tweaks – custom exhaust, handlebars, different fuel tank (now 6 gallons), dual disc front brake conversion, fairing, a revised rear drive for lower engine speeds on the freeway, larger oil pan, and more. Per the seller, the only flaw is a dent in right side of the tank.
