The builder of this custom CL combined “bits and pieces from at least 15 different motorcycles plus a handful of aftermarket parts” to create it. What do you think of the final product?
This isn’t my usual type of bike, but I do like the way the seller has melded so many different manufacturers together (note the tank logo of “Honaki”). The frame and engine are from a Honda CL360 (with Suzuki GS850 pistons, EBC clutch springs, “professional carb mods”, and more), but other highlights include the suspension, swingarm, brakes, and wheels from a Kawasaki Ninja 500. You’ve also get a CB500T tank + kickstand, the fuel filler from a Suzuki GSX1100G, Yamaha R1 footpegs, and a whole bunch of aftermarket parts: clipons, levers, LED lighting, digital dash, sprockets, chain, and plenty more.
Special attention should be paid to the custom parts: the billet aluminum top triple, seat, electrics tray, stainless steel brake lines, rear fender, and of course, the paint. It now displaces 378cc and the seller says that “though it is only a 22cc or 6% increase in displacement, the power output and responsiveness is much greater.” It’s an interesting amalgam – would you ride?
