Here’s an interesting custom take on a Norton Commando that was built in the 80s by Specialized Motorcycles, Inc. out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Per the seller, “this highly custom build started with New Old Stock engine cases (never stamped) and all components were either new, or custom one-off hand made parts.” The engine has been bored out, it has hi-comp pistons, head work, oversized valves, and an aftermarket camshaft. It’s also got Mikuni carbs, a Supertrapp exhaust, Lucas ignition, and Lockhart oil cooler.
Bodywork-wise, it’s got a Dunstall fiberglass gas tank (which has been sealed with Caswell) and an Airtech tail. There’s also an aluminum oil tank and a whole bunch of custom-machined anodized aluminum parts. It’s also got Norton Roadholder forks and Works shocks connected to aluminum Akront wheels.
