Introduced in 1972, the GT380 was one of several legendary two stroke Suzuki triples. As opposed to the Kawasaki triples of the day, the Suzuki models were well mannered and very road worthy. The GT380 (and the GT550) were air cooled with a “Ram Air” head that allowed increased cooling air flow. One other strange fact of the Suzuki GTs. They split the center exhaust so they ended up being a ‘3 into 4’ exhaust system.
The GT380 used a 371 cc triple to punch a claimed 38 HP through a six speed transmission for a claimed top speed of 95 MPH. A single disc front and drum rear brakes provided adequate braking and it used a moderately stiff double cradle frame. Weight listed at 392 LBS and a claimed 32-46 MPG. Oil mixture was provided by the Suzuki CCI mixing system.
This particular GT380 looks to be an uber clean survivor low mileage survivor. The price is definitely on the tall end of the price range, but it is pretty impressive looking, and a good bet for a rider or collection.
