In America, Laverda offered the 3CL (and the up-spec Jota), but they renamed the former the Jarama in 1978 after the racetrack in Spain. It didn’t sell particularly well in the United States, so some dealers converted the base Jaramas to Jotas (and some people call these “Jarotas”).
This example (VIN: 5467) has bene upgraded with Jota carbs (Dell’Orto 36mm PHFs), cams, and adjustable Jota Breganze handlebars. Everything is said to work except for the horns, which need a relay. The seller says that it could use new tires soon. The seller also has a few other beautiful classic bikes that “may” later be for sale: a Moto Guzzi LeMans, Norton Commando Interstate, and a Ducati 750 Sport.
