Post-Sale Update: After 40 bids on eBay, this Moto Guzzi 850 LeMans sold for $16,099.

Arguably the successor to the V7 Sport, the Moto Guzzi 850 LeMans was named after the famous race in France. Guzzi took a modified version of the 850T engine and wrapped it in interesting styling that has led to it becoming a cult classic.

High compression pistons and 36mm Dell’Ortos helped the 850 put down 71 horsepower, good for a top speed of around 135 miles per hour. For more on the 850 LeMans, check out this write-up on Motorcycle Classics.

Moto Guzzi 850 LeMans - Cockpit

This specific Moto Guzzi 850 LeMans (VIN: 072773) has 6,800 miles and is claimed to be all original except for electronic ignition and a Corbin seat, though the original is included. There’s a small scrape on the front fairing and the bike has new-ish throttle cables and foot peg rubbers. The battery is also a little weak, so throw in a new one and enjoy!
