Post-Listing Update: This Moto Guzzi 1000SP cafe racer was pulled off of eBay, final sale price unknown.

One of the better touring bikes in its day, the Moto Guzzi 1000SP Spada typically falls under the radar of some of the more classic Guzzi names. I’ve already featured one example that was turned into an absolute beauty, but here’s an interesting cafe-racer take on the SP.

Moto Guzzi 1000SP - Being Built

The 1000cc engine pushed out about 75 horsepower, yielding a top speed of 116 miles per hour with the original bodywork. For more information on the stock bike, head on over to the Ye Olde Cycle Shoppe for a period review. But this bike has been made into something a bit sleeker thanks to the team at Valentina’s Garage.

Moto Guzzi 1000SP - Front Left

This specific Moto Guzzi 1000SP has obviously been extensively modified – the highlight of which has to be the monoshock in the rear which is made possible thanks to a customized frame. The handlebars, footpegs, seat and exhaust are all custom as well.
