This G3 moped stands out for two reasons: first, it has an impressive 15,800 miles on the odometer, and secondly, it features the top of the line 505/1D motor – good for a stonking 2.7 horsepower. Speeding tickets, here we come!
The 505 was the most common Sachs moped motor, and you’ll find it on other brands like Hercules as well. The “D” motors were the hot rods of the lineup with 49cc of displacement and 10:1 compression ratio. For more information on what made the D better, check out this post on Moped Army. The seller of this bike acquired this in 2009, and the only issue seems to be that the horn does not work. If you want, the seller will include a lock and a leather side bag as part of the sale.
Find this Prima G3 for sale here on Craigslist in Culver City, California for $2,000.
