1980 Suzuki GS750E Restomod

In Custom, Japan by AbhiLeave a Comment

Whenever I see a listing with the term “restomod”, it’s typically a crapshoot about what work has been done and what the seller thinks a restomod is. But here’s one that nails the intent (at least in my mind) of keeping vintage aesthetics while giving the performance a significant (modernized) boost.

Highlights of the upgrades include:
17” GSX-R wheel with new New Bridgestone Battlax BT-016 Tire and 90 degree valve stem
EBC Rotors and Pads and special order Galfer Braided Line with GSX-R Mastercylinder
GSX-R 750 front forks, rebuilt and modified by Race-Tech
Pro-Tek top triple with CBR954 bottom triple & tapered Bearing Conversion
Molock Keyless Ignition
Tarozzi Adjustable Clip-ons
Delkavic Stainless Retro styled 4into1
All new gaskets and seals installed in Engine
Carbs cleaned, rebuilt and re-jetted
Bandit 1200 Swingarm with machined pivot adapters & modified for twin shocks
Ohlins Shocks
Bandit 1200 rear wheel with New Bridgestone Battlax BT-016 Tire and 90degree valve stem
EBC rear disc and pads with Braided brake line

It has only 5,767 miles, just 80 of which were put on after the work was done. The seller built this bike for himself but unfortunately can’t ride it comfortably due to a leg injury.
