Honda made quite the splash back when it introduced the CBX to the world. The six-cylinder engine was clearly the star of the show, though some people felt the frame/handling wasn’t up to the task.
Enter Fritz Egli, who made his name with his work on Vincent motorcycles. He built a very beefy frame in an attempt to give the engine the handling it deserved, then designed an entire motorcycle around it that he called the Egli Red Baron. Between 30-50 were ever built, some with bored out 1200cc engines. This example has 12,300 miles and comes with an extra set of black bodywork (look at the seat!)
