Post Sale Update: This CB1000 Custom sold for $3,001 after 25 bids on eBay in Hopkins, Minnesota.

Produced for just one year, the Honda CB1000C Custom was notable for the TRAC anti-dive system and dual-range transmission (a sub-transmission that let you choose high or low for any given gear, even if people only really used it to act as a sixth gear/overdrive).

Honda offered a wide variety of factory accessories for the big CB, including a Hondaline fairing, saddlebags, and trunk. This 30,500-mile example (VIN: LHFSC1001DA001699) doesn’t have any of them, though it does have a luggage rack with integrated backrest and a large Vetter fairing. The front forks were recently rebuilt with new seals and Progressive springs, and there’s a new OEM petcock as well. Other recent work includes EBC brake pads, brake fluid flush, and an oil/filter change.
