Post-Sale Update: This CB1100F sold for $3,100.
Built for just one year, the Honda CB1100F was a sleek looking standard that evolved from the 900F. In the process, it had tremendous performance – in January of ’83, Cycle World said it was the fastest stock bike they’ve ever tested.
The 4 cylinder engine produced 108 horsepower, good for a top speed of 139 miles per hour. The US got an optional chin fairing and a slightly different seating position than the rest of the world. For more on the 1100F, check out this site dedicated to the rare bike.
This specific Honda CB1100F (VIN: JH2SC1107DM007635) has just over 27,000 miles that ‘looks to be all original’. The seller took this bike in on a trade and doesn’t sound 100% confident about the motorcycle. It’s claimed to run well and is ready for its next owner.
