Post-Sale Update: This CB1100F sold for $3,300 after 7 bids on eBay.
Built for just one year, the Honda CB1100F was a sleek looking standard that was mighty quick – in January of ’83, Cycle World said it was the fastest stock bike they’ve ever tested.
The 4 cylinder engine produced 108 horsepower, good for a top speed of 139 miles per hour. The US got an optional chin fairing and a slightly different seating position than the rest of the world.
This example has 14,502 miles and was restored by Cold Hearted Custom Cycles – click that link for build photos. It had been sitting for a number of years so the bike was stripped down to the frame and given a new lease on life. Bonus points are awarded for the Supertrapp exhaust.
