In 1983, Kawasaki gave the GPZ1100 a serious redesign with new bodywork, anti-dive forks, and the Uni-Trak rear suspension. Power output was also bumped to 120 horsepower (104 at the rear wheel), though this was gained at the expense of low-end torque.
This example (VIN: JKAZXBA16DA003517) is said to be an “excellent survivor with original bodywork looking great.” It was recently serviced with “new tires & battery, spark plugs, oil change, new fuel pump & fuel hoses, cleaned fuel injectors, sync throttle bodies, rebuilt fuel petcock switch, a new air filter, and a once over on all major systems.”
