In 1983, Kawasaki gave the GPZ1100 a serious redesign with new bodywork, anti-dive forks, and the Uni-Trak rear suspension. Power output was also bumped to 120 horsepower (104 at the rear wheel), though this was gained at the expense of low-end torque.
The next year, Kawi added Galaxy Silver as a paint option and made some other minor changes. This example has 15,000 miles and unfortunately just one photo in the listing. It’s claimed to run excellent and need nothing, and while the original exhaust is included the bike currently has a 4-into-1 Vance & Hines exhaust on it. It’s highly original otherwise and the Galaxy Silver paint looks to be in good shape in the one photo. Find this big GPZ for sale here on Craigslist in Cumming, Georgia for $5,500.
