Post-Listing Update: Despite 23 bids on eBay up to $5,000, this Le Mans Mk III did not meet reserve.
I’m a sucker for the styling of the Le Mans II, especially when it’s a color that’s not red. This example is particularly special thanks to a seller who has owned it since 1990 and made some choice modifications.
The Mark III produced 76 horsepower at the crank and was capable of about 132 miles per hour. For more on the Le Mans III, check out this review from a long time owner.
This specific Mk III (VIN: ZGUVFAVF3EM100291) has 25,089 miles and I’m really digging the modifications that have been added: Ohlins piggyback shocks, Agostini rearsets, Telefix clipons/fork brace, Kosman steel braided lines, de-linked brakes, and even a Raceco gear-driven camshaft. I even enjoy the painted emblems on the sidecovers, but new replacements are included if you disagree with me. The bike was recently serviced and got a new battery, though you’ll want to replace the tires soon.
