Normally, a 350 from Morini makes people think of the 3 1/2, but the Italian firm released the Moto Morini 350 K2 a decade later.
The K2 was only built between ’84-’86, and it utilized an air-cooled four stroke engine which displaced 344cc. This engine put out 35 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 20 lb-ft of torque. The styling evolved to be a bit more Japanese, which I don’t think works on this bike, but you can’t argue with the components: Marzocchi suspension, Grimeca triple discs, LaFranconi exhaust, Dell’orto carbs, and more.
This specific Moto Morini 350 K2 is missing what I thought was the standard front fairing, but it has just 14,000 miles. It has a few minor needs, but that’s keeping the price low for a rare piece of Italian motorcycling history.
Find this Moto Morini 350 K2 for sale here on Craigslist in Williamsburg, New York for $2,800.
