A classic sportbike, the Suzuki GSX-R 750 was originally introduced in 1985 and debuted with a win in the 24-hour World Endurance Championships in Le Mans. The 1986 model, as featured here, was the first year these bikes were imported into the US. Differences between the ’85 and ’86 model were modest – a 25mm longer swingarm, modified bellypan, and upgraded headlights.
With just 1,251 miles on it, this Gixxer presumably has a ton of life left in it. Note that there are several parts that aren’t original – the exhaust, seat cover, fairing fasteners, and lowered footpegs (though the original footpegs are included). The fairing has some scratches as well. In the last couple of years, the carbs and rear brake caliper have been rebuilt, and the bike got a new oil filter and spark plugs. The seller includes an album of photos here on SmugMug. Find this Gixxer for sale in Doylestown, Pennsylvania for $6,500 here on ADVRider (registration required).
