From the factory, the SPII 1000 was a visually bulky bike. This custom has shed a lot of the weight -the question now is if you think it looks good as a big cafe racer.
This bike (VIN: ZGUVHAVTBM100081) has approximately 14,000 miles (2,000 of which were put after the bike was converted by the seller). The front end is from a Suzuki GSX-R, the exhaust, pegs, and some other parts are custom, and “everything was powdercoated, painted, or chromed.” This bike was apparently featured in Cycle World (though I couldn’t find the issue) and toured with CW in the national IMS show. The seller suggests that the bike is best for riders who are 6″ or less – he’s 6’4″ and finds it to be a tight fit.
