The Ducati 750 F1B was a factory racer with lights and signals for street legality. One of the last bikes from Ducati before they were sold to Cagiva, the 750 F1B (and the limited editions based on this bike) is a minimalists’ bike and one of the most sought after Ducatis in the company’s history.
The B model was introduced in 1986 and featured a solo seat as well as a 2-in-1 exhaust – though it was very similar to the F1A. This was truly a repli-racer for the street.
This specific Ducati 750 F1B (VIN: ZDM1AA3LOJB751848) dumps the stock 2-into-1 exhaust for an aftermarket BUB unit – the seller says this makes the bike sound like the 427ci engine out of a 60s Corvette. It has just 3,188 miles and is claimed to be close to mint, though it’s also “missing bits and pieces”. The paint is original, and the fluids have been drained for about six years. It also comes with some extras but the seller doesn’t actually say what those are. Be prepared to ask a lot of questions, I guess.
It also features a truly horrible sticker on the tail that can hopefully be removed with a heat gun:
