An interesting complement to the ’90 900SS featured a month ago, this 750 Sport is one of the rare reborn SuperSports that America didn’t get. Here in the US, we think of the updated SS generation as the 900 model that debuted in 1991, but Ducati actually tried to bring it back in 1987 with the machine you se in front of you today.
The 748cc 4V V-Twin motor was good for about 72 horsepower and it was paired with Marzocchi suspension, 16″ Oscam wheels front and rear, Brembo brakes, 44mm Weber carb, and a five-speed transmission. For a nice retrospective road test, check out this story on Classic Two Wheels.
This example (VIN: ZDM1KA3JXLB751788) has 19,130 miles and is said to be all original with well-preserve bodywork. The seller states that everything works and it’s current on maintenance though the tires should be replaced if you want to do “anything more than light riding.”
Find this 750 Sport for sale in Elmhurst, Illinois with bidding up to $4,527 and the reserve not yet met here on eBay.
