Frank Wu, this post is for you! In the late 80s, Honda introduced one of the first modern production naked motorcycles. Though the Honda NT650 (also known as the Hawk) was not a commercial success, it went on to inspire more prevalent motorcycles like the Suzuki SV650N, and has become an absolute cult favorite.

Honda NT650 Hawk - Engine

We could go on for a while about what makes the Hawk special – light weight, absolutely incredible handling, and it still looks good nearly 15 years later. But the reason I bring up Frank Wu, Chancellor/Dean of UC Hastings Law School and someone who I’ve been quite impressed with, is because he has a wonderful write up on why he loves his Hawk GT here for the Huffington Post. I highly recommend the read, as he’s a smart guy who understands the joys that bikes can bring us.

Honda NT650 Hawk - Gauges

This specific Honda NT650 has been gone through by a Hawk restorer, and it has just 15.5 thousand miles. All the mechanical work you’d hope to be taken care of has been – it’s almost like getting a “new” 14 year-old bike. The seller gives you the option of swapping out the black body work with the OEM blue and the black wheels for OEM grey, if you’d prefer.

We’ve actually featured a Hawk from this seller before, as he does fantastic work. Find this Honda NT650 for sale here on Craigslist for $3,850 in Corona, California.
