Over at Iconic, our Transport Manager Cory is selling off his personal VFR400, the baby brother to the legendary RC30.

The trick little 400 was also an early adopter of various features such as its 360-degree “big bang” firing order, TRAC (Torque Reactive Anti-dive Circuit) 41mm telescopic front-end, and ELF’s Pro-Arm single-sided swing-arm. Just like its three-quarter-liter sibling, the welterweight VFR used a competition-derived aluminum twin-spar frame. A four-into-one exhaust exited on the left side of the bike, enabling easy access to the 18” rear wheel, and the suspension was adjustable for preload and rebound.

This example (VIN: NC301000427) was featured in Issue 31 of Practical Sportsbike Magazine and it’s been with the seller for the last two years. The previous owner stated that the bike was imported with 1,862 kilometers before it was converted to a UK MPH speedometer. Cory purchased the bike with it showing 14,099 miles; the odometer now reads 14,322 miles. However, true mileage is unknown.

It’s got a YSS shock, HID headlights, aftermarket radiator, braided brake lines, and a rear seat cowl. Find this NC30 for sale in Santa Monica, California with bidding up to $9,800 here on Iconic Motorbike Auctions.
