This example is VIN: 3FV000201. The odometer shows 35,258 kilometers (21,908 miles), and in preparation for the listing, we detailed the bike and rebuilt/sync’d the carbs. There are multiple mentions of “Taira Racing”, a reference to Tadahiko Taira, a legendary Japanese racer who spent his entire professional career with Yamaha and competed in several endurace races, including the Suzuka 8 Hours. Beyond that, it’s equipped with a custom undertail/battery tray, aftermarket rear sets, custom mirror mounts, bar ends, and that fantastic livery. Endurance bikes just look better.
