Sold only in Japan (and only in 1990), the Zook is a rare 50cc scoot from Honda. Per this press release, Honda planned on selling 40,000 Zooks to young people “as a trendy new model” for urban transportation. They called it “fun to ride” and “fun to look at”. It features a two-stroke, 49ccm motor that produces 3 horsepower.
Honda Japan also released an educational video about the Zook on their YouTube channel – they’re sharing a few videos about bikes in their Collection Hall. Come learn about the Zook!
Also, here’s a 15 second TV commercial, because why not?
The seller of this example doesn’t have anything to say besides it’s in “Used – Good” condition and that it’s “Incredibly RARE” (which is true). It also looks like it’s missing the nifty “Zook” decals on the rear, good luck with that. Here’s a Zook I saw at Cycle Refinery so you can see what the nifty decal should look like.
Find this Zook for sale in Plaistow, New Hampshire (where I used to play indoor soccer as a kid) for $2,000 here on Facebook Marketplace.
