In 1982, Harley-Davidson introduced the FXR Super Glide II, and they promised handling on par with what other countries considered ‘sporty.’ It had larger lean angles and less vibration, and it’s remembered fondly by many HD riders. For more on the FXR, check out this model history on HotBike. This FXRT (VIN: 1HD1ECL13MY127178) is claimed to be well maintained and very stock. The top end has been rebuilt (unknown how long ago) and it runs “like it should.” Sale includes the original keys and a set of bag liners, and the seller says that if it “weren’t for the minor paint scuffs this would appear to be a 5 year old machine rather than 25 years old.” The seller has a $12,000 BIN price that is not showing in the listing.
Taking pictures while shirtless – nice.
