Here’s a little Italian I’ve never heard of, let alone seen: a Benelli Devil!
Per this video, the Devil was Benelli’s first bike after De Tomaso’s ownership ended – it was originally offered in 1991 with a 50cc Minarelli engine and a 3-speed transmission. In Italy, a 14 year old could ride one of these on the road but they were limited to 25 miles per hour. However, Benelli also offered a “Devil Trophy” in 1992 and 1993, those bikes got a 70cc hop-up kit with several other upgrades that bumped up output to 18 horsepower and it also got a 4-speed transmission. In this spec, the bike was capable of hitting 80 miles per hour!
According to the seller, this example (VIN: ZA10313) features a 80cc engine producing 12 horsepower. The seller acquired it in Germany, and the odometer shows 21,315 kilometers (13,245 miles). The oil injection was removed so you’ll have to run premix, it comes with some extras (including a 2-up seat), and it’s offered with an Indiana title (plus the original German title).
Find this Benelli for sale in Martinsville, Indiana with a BIN of $4,500 here on eBay.
