I was really on the fence about featuring this because I obviously try to keep my posts limited to motorcycles. I’m going to pretend this is close enough, and maybe one of my Harley-loving readers will want to snap up this very expensive bicycle.

Harley-Davidson Velo Glide Ultra - Tank

The Harley-Davidson Velo Glide Ultra was the result of a partnership between HD and GT bicycles built to celebrate Harley’s 95th Anniversary. It was apparently inspired by the Softail Custom (if you can see it), and came with Shimano shifters, gears, and brakes. Just 1,000 were built and they were given to dealerships to sell as promotional items for…$2,499! As you might expect, no one really bought them at that price and so dealers either kept them for themselves or ended up offering giant discounts.
