Post-Listing Update: Despite 15 bids on eBay, this Moto Guzzi Centauro Racer did not meet reserve at $6,110
Designed for the 75th anniversary of the MG factory, the Moto Guzzi Centauro was a limited production model (just 1918 ever built) that was a sporty variant of the classic Italian cruiser with very distinctive bodywork, made out of bodywork that the factory advertised for some reason as 100% recyclable.
The 992cc twin was good for 95 horsepower and a top speed of 130 miles per hour. Want to learn more? Head over to the Centauro Owners Group for all the information you could want.
This specific Moto Guzzi Centauro (VIN: ZGUKKAKK2VM111699) has just 2,363 miles and the two-tone paint job is in excellent condition. It’s pretty much all original with the exception of $2,000 full Staintune exhaust system with headers, crossover, and carbon fiber mufflers.
