Last week, I featured an Aprilia RS50 with a Honda NX250 motor for $6,000. Let’s keep the brands the same, but dream a little bigger (and only for a grand more!
This is very reminiscent of the Super Single racers from back in the day, but it’s just cooler. As it is a track/race bike, there’s no kick or electric starter. The seller believes the frame is from a RS250 Cup, and there’s a plate saying it’s for competition use only. He/she also notes that the bodywork is rough but he’ll throw in a new set of Airtech bodywork.
This Honda motor in this example (VIN: ZD4LDA500WS0049) has just 2 hours on a rebuild, and the seller claims that there are “very rare Honda racing parts in motor” but he/she does not specify what they are. What do you think? It’s clearly a more fun proposition than the last Aprilia/Honda hybrid I shared, but is it worth the asking price?
Find this RS250/CRF450R hybrid for sale for $7,000 in Chico, California here on Craigslist.
