The SB6 was Bimota’s best selling bike – the R was even cooler thanks to upgraded specifications. The seller says this bike has had $65,000 invested into it, $35,000 of which was presumably the crazy-expensive original MSRP of this motorcycle when it was sold.
The engine was from a GSX-R 1100, but Bimota improved the camshaft so the engine put out 156 horsepower. That was complemented by Brembo brakes, Marchesini wheels, Paoli suspension, and more. On top of that, this specific example has a full Motocorse titanium exhaust, Graves balanced/blueprinted engine, Dymag magnesium wheels, $10,000 (!) Ohlins forks, GP Masters clutch…the list goes on. Even the damn kickstand is titanium and apparently cost $700. You’ll get a lot of parts, but weirdly…no speedometer.
