MCN summarized the K1200RS by saying it “carved its own niche as a superb high-speed distance bike that could carry a pillion and luggage too without breaking a sweat…build quality remains a strong point so big mileages are very possible.”

The K1200RS and GT were the final evolutions of the flying brick drivetrain, and it was a heavyweight sport-tourer that was BMW’s most powerful motorcycle to date. Basic specs were 130 horsepower, 85 lb-ft of torque, 587 pounds of weight, their first six-speed transmission, and lots of adjustable pieces for rider comfort – shifter, footpegs, and clipons.

This example (VIN: WB10554A7WZA50366) has 13,070 miles and it’s adorned in the fantastic Checkered Dakar Yellow / Arctic Grey paint scheme. The seller is the second owner and he notes that it’s in good shape despite having been tipped over on the left side. The bike comes with an extra seat, windscreen, bar risers, factory cover, and most importantly: factory luggage. Any one up for a fly-and-ride?
