2-Stroke Swap – 2000 Kawasaki Ninja 250

In Custom, Japan by AbhiLeave a Comment

I’ve been on a bit of a two-stroke kick as of late so let’s keep it going with a fun swap: someone’s put a 1974 Yamaha RD250 motor into a Kawasaki Ninja 250 frame!

Per the seller, it’s got custom headers, twin Toomey exhausts, and it “sounds like a banshee.” I really wish he had a video in the listing for me to share with you. Other modifications include a Vapor dash, Trail Tech temperature gauge, aftermarket headlight/turn signals and bar end mirrors. The seller says that it starts first kick and that it “runs and rides perfect.” If it had the OEM front fairing (which I assume wouldn’t clear the expansion chambers) it actually would look pretty close to stock.

Find this two-stroke-swapped Ninja for sale in Ronkonkoma, New York for $2,500 here on Facebook Marketplace.
