Every summer, Vy and I take a motorcycle trip – we try to alternate between staying in the US or going out of the country. In 2016, we decided to take two weeks to explore the Western third of the US. I’ve shared the story in several parts over the last few months, so here’s one place where you can catch it all. Day 1 – June 18th, 2016- Los Angeles, California to Tucson, Arizona: ~500 miles.
Day 2 – June 19th, 2016 – Tucson, Arizona to Carlsbad, New Mexico: ~480 miles
Day 3 – June 20th, 2016 – Carlsbad, New Mexico to Carrizozo, NM ~ 250 miles
Day 4 – June 21st, 2016 – Carrizozo, New Mexico to Albuquerque, New Mexico ~ 150 miles.
Day 5 – June 22nd, 2016 – Albuquerque, New Mexico to Pueblo, Colorado: ~400 miles.
Day 6 – June 23rd, 2016 – Pueblo, Colorado to Laramie, Wyoming: ~375 miles.
Day 7 – June 24th, 2016 – Laramie, Wyoming to Jackson, Wyoming: ~400 miles.
Day 8 – June 25th, 2016 – Jackson, Wyoming to West Yellowstone, Montana ~225 miles.
Day 9 – June 26th, 2016 – West Yellowstone, Montana to Idaho Falls, Idaho ~230 miles.
Day 10 – June 27th, 2016 – Idaho Falls, Idaho to Twin Falls, Idaho ~240 miles.
Day 11 – June 27th, 2016 – Twin Falls, Idaho to Salt Lake City, Utah ~ 300 miles.
Day 12 – June 28th, 2016 – Salt Lake City, Utah to Arches National Park, Utah ~ 230 miles.
Day 13 – June 29th, 2016 – Arches National Park, Utah to…Arches National Park, Utah ~ 0 miles.
Day 14 – June 30th, 2016 – Arches National Park, Utah to Loa, Utah ~ 150 miles.
Day 15 – July 1st, 2016 – Loa, Utah to Las Vegas, Nevada ~ 310 miles.
Day 16 – July 2nd, 2016 – Las Vegas, Nevada to Los Angeles, California ~ 310 miles.
