Unlike the normal DB4, the Bimota DB4ie is a fuel injected biposto. Like the original, it’s a very rare specimen. Only about 75 were made worldwide, and just 15 of those were officially imported to the US. Most were the red/white paint combination, making this yellow/black example a hard to find sportbike.
Featuring engine from the Ducati SuperSport, the 904cc powerplant produced 80 horsepower and 60 pound feet of torque. The oval frame design featured 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and weighed just 11 pounds, helping the entire bike tip the scales at just 365 pounds.
This specific Bimota DB4ie has 4,700 miles and comes with Gilles Variobars and risers, along with the OEM equipment Paioli forks and FG rear shock. I’m not a big fan of yellow but I think this paint scheme looks good.
