Built by Harry Hoffman Sr in San Carlos, California in 2000, this melting pot of a custom combines American muscle with a home-made frame and suspension components from Italy and Japan.
Surrounding the 1996 HD XL1200C motor is a custom oil-in-frame chassis that’s paired with a 1994 Ducati 750ss swingarm, Showa shock, and 1993 Suzuki GSX-R1100 front forks/fender. The bodywork is all handmade, and the whole package weighs 408 pounds – compare that to a stock 1996 Sportster 1200, which weighs 491.
The seller says he has “many construction pictures and invoices as well as a list of the production parts used in the wheels and brakes” – it would have been great if he could have included some of those additional details in the listing, especially considering the asking price of $15k. But what do you think of this?
