Ghezzi-Brian was founded in 1995 by Giuseppe Ghezzi and Bruno Saturno. Within a year they won the Italian SuperTwin championship, thanks to first place finishes in 9 of the 32 races. They took their SuperTwin and built a small run of road-legal replicas with the drivetrain from a Moto Guzzi Sport 1100i. Most of the production run stayed in Italy, but here’s a rare example (supposedly one of 26) that was imported to the US.
I’ve featured a Supertwin before – notable for its distinctive bodywork, Ohlins shock, perimeter brakes, and low-for-a-Guzzi-powered-bike weight (423 pounds dry), but the Folgore was an up-spec evolution with 5-spoke OZ wheels.
I actually saw this example (VIN: ZA9STW000P1G54028) at Pro Italia a few months ago when I was buying something else, though I guess it’s back with its owner who’s trying the auction route. I don’t blame him – this is a tough bike to find a home for. For context, it looks like the ried Bring a Trailer back in 2020, bidding got up to $12,000 back then.
Find this Ghezzi-Brian for sale in Alameda, California with bidding up to $2,575 and the reserve not yet met or a BIN of $16,000 here on eBay.
