Post-Sale Update: After 20 bids on eBay, this Moto Guzzi LeMans Cafe Racer sold for $11,400.
Based on a 2003 model, this Moto Guzzi LeMans Cafe Racer has been customized by the guys at Santiago Chopper (who once built a Breitling-themed cafe racer for Discovery’s Cafe Racer TV show).
The Guzzi LeMans was the faired version of the V11, though the fairing is no longer relevant in this case! The 1064cc V-Twin engine was good for 91 horsepower and a top speed of 135 miles per hour, leaving you with a surprisingly comfortable bike that weighed a hefty 487 pounds – I’m wondering how many pounds Santiago was able to shed for this build.
This specific Moto Guzzi LeMans Cafe Racer is actually titled as a Santiago Chopper, and is a one of a kind bike with brand new adjustable ignition. The seller says that he removed all the “electric system and injected system”, though I’m not 100% sure on what that truly entails.
