I’ve previously featured a Silver Jubilee edition of the Bonnie, but let’s fast forward 25 years to the Triumph Bonneville Golden Jubilee. Built to mark the Golden Jubilee (50th Anniversary) of the Queen’s reign – not the existence of the Bonneville – this was a limited edition of just cosmetic work that will probably only interest die-hard Triumph buffs.
Production numbers are unclear, as it seems this was never an official model. Instead, it was sold as a kit (NLA) that was dealer fitted to 2002 and 2003 model year bikes. The best I’ve been able to find is that 699 kits were installed without the flyscreen, and 120 kits included the flyscreen. Other than the screen, the kit was pretty much just an exclusive paint scheme and badging on the base Bonneville 790.
This specific Triumph Bonneville Golden Jubilee has 14,550 miles and is claimed to be in near mint condition. The owner has thrown on some extras, including the pipes and gas cap, but unfortunately the original parts do not come with the bike.
