One of the best (though arguably underappreciated) superbikes to ever come out of Italy was the Aprilia RSV 1000 R. In 2004, Aprilia decided to amp up the RSVR with the Aprilia RSV 1000 R Nera, first in their “Dream Series” of bikes.
The main difference is the beautiful full set of carbon fiber body panels. In addition, the limited run of bikes came with magnesium OZ wheels, a full titanium exhaust from Akrapovic, and even titanium nuts, bolts, and fasteners – all of which helped to remove over 30 pounds of weight. The V-Twin engine even got a little boost, producing 139.5 horsepower at 5 digit rpm levels.
This specific Aprilia RSV 1000 R Nera (VIN: ZD4RRCO224S000046) has just 83 miles on the odometer and looks to be in great shape.
The last time we featured one of these, it sold for an unknown amount after getting no interest at $28,995. Find this Aprilia RSV 1000 R Nera for sale in Hadley, New York with an opening bid of $17,000 and a BIN of $25,000
