Post Sale Update: After 25 bids on eBay, this Nero Corsa sold for $7,000.
The last of the spine frame Guzzis, the Nero Corsa was a beautiful limited edition of the V11 LeMans. I’ve seen rumors that just 200 were built (50 of which made it to the US), but I have not been able to confirm that with an official source. Unlike many other special editions, this got some non-cosmetic upgrades over other V11s, so in addition to the 91 horsepower V-Twin engine, you got Brembo Series Oro brakes, Ohlins suspension and a dual plate clutch.
Most Guzzi circles consider this to be the best of the V11s. I prefer the look of the Tenni but it’s hard to argue with the suspension upgrades of the Nero Corsa, which translates to “Black Racer.” The Nero also got different (and in my opinion, much better) visuals for the gauges and updated ECU mapping.
This example (VIN: ZGUKTC0074M11304) has 17,152 miles and is said to have been trouble-free with the exception of the failure of the original speedo/odo at 11,298 miles. This is already an exclusive model but this bike goes a step further with a factory “Kit Racing” ECU and Moto Guzzi titanium exhaust. The Ohlins forks were rebuilt 850 miles ago. The seller has had this motorcycle for 6 years and during that time he’s put on about 6,500 miles. The bike is said to need nothing and the only cosmetic issue seems to be that the tank decals are bubbling.
