The BMW R1200GS is well-known, and I usually don’t feature them just because they’re so common. But this one stands out because it’s been further “adventurized” with the addition of a shovel. Oh yeah, and I guess there’s a sidecar, too.
This example (VIN: WD10317A05ZL76029) has just under 30,000 miles and it’s on offer from the original owner. The sidecar was built by Claude Stanley of Freedom Sidecars. It’s made of aluminum and it features PIAA lights, nose rack, rear rack, fender rack, aluminum stone guard, tonneau cover, anti sway bar, twin Rotopax gas cans, and of course…the shovel. The bike has some upgrades as well: ceramic clutch, Jesse Bags, Pelican case, custom Ohlins shocks built by PPS Suspension, automobile wheel conversion, BMW navigation, and a Cee Bailey windscreen.
