5-31-20 Update: Four years later, this bike is back on the market with a new owner. Find it in Grover Beach, California for a slightly higher price of $12,500 (and a leaking oil pan gasket) here on ADVRider.
From the seller of Wednesday’s F3 Ago comes the bigger brother F4 Ago from over a decade ago. Unlike the F3 variant of the Ago, the F4 was intended to be the introduction of the model to the world, so the limited run of 300 were the first 1000cc F4s offered to the public. Changes were solely cosmetic but the 166 horsepower inline 4-cylinder engine was still good for a top speed of 184 miles per hour.
The red/white/green paint scheme was designed to honor Giacomo Agostini, the most victorious motorcycle racer in history. Under his tenure, MV won fourteen world championships, ten Tourist Trophies, and over 250 races. This F4 Ago (VIN: ZCGAKFGMX5V100096) is #75 out of 300 and has 10,749 miles on it. It’s claimed to be in excellent mechanic and cosmetic condition and it is currently part of Guy Webster’s motorcycle collection in Ojai, California. It has new (<75 miles) tires and it will come with a rear wheel stand, MV bike cover, spare key, owners manual, and a framed original CoA. The rear shock is now an Ohlins unit but the original is included with the sale.
Find this F4 Ago for sale here on Craigslist for $11,900 in Carpinteria, California.
