2006 Honda Big Ruckus PS250

In Japan, Scooter by AbhiLeave a Comment

The Ruckus was a surprising hit for Honda, due almost entirely to the aftermarket customization that has skyrocketed around the 50cc scooter. What many people don’t know is that Honda offered a ‘full-size’ version called the Honda Big Ruckus for 4 years in Japan and 2 years in the US/Canada.

In this case, full-size means a 2 passenger, 250cc scoot that produced 19 horsepower and 15 pound-feet of torque. Features included a CVT, rear seat that folds up to become a driver backrest and a parking brake that was actually a hand-lever. Try drifting that! I’ve never tried one, so I can’t say I know why, but these bikes have incredible loyal owners and are arguably in higher demand now than they were when offered new in the States.

This example has just 1,480 miles and it’s said to be in excellent condition with the only issue being a scratch on the frame from a tie-down while being trailered. It’s got a RAM mount, 12V power plug, OEM manual (not the original), factory workshop manual, and a couple of spares.

Find this Big Ruckus for sale in New Rochelle, New York for $5,000 here on Craigslist.
