Want a high-quality enduro but think Gas Gas or Husaberg are just too well known? Maybe Sherco is the company for you. Named after a hybrid of Bultaco and Sherpa, Sherco was founded in Spain in 1998. Nowadays they also have a production facility in France, and across both countries they build trials, supermoto, and enduro bikes. Here’s an example of their hard-to-find 510cc enduro, the 5.1i (“i” signifies that this is fuel injected).
These bikes are impressively built, with machined hubs, forks built out of a joint venture between Kayaba and Paioli, Magnetti Marelli fuel injection, swtichable fuel mapping, and more. For more on the Sherco 5.1i, check out this test from Cycle Torque.
This example (VIN: VNBS451EN7B000982) has 1,500 miles and is claimed to look like new by the seller, who is the original owner. It comes equipped with hand guards, a skid plate, and a trials rear tire/knobby front tire. The trick rear gas fender shown in photos is unfortunately not included.
